Dr.Mallika Senasekera, D.A.M.S, D.A
Daughter of a renowned Ayurveda Physician , Late Dr. D.S.Senasekera, represents the Fourth generation of Ayurvedic physicians and inherits the traditional practices of the ‘Udaratabehethgeywedapramparawa’ of the ancient Kandyan Kingdom. Undergraduate of The Government Ayurveda College, Colombo (Now Institute of Indigenous Medicine-University of Colombo), followed the rich practices of her lineage directly getting in to clinical practice after qualifying as an Ayurveda physician. Starting as an apprentice under her highly acclaimed father she has been in practice for more than 40 years and plays a leading role in the medical team of Pilapitiya Ayurveda.
Dr.Senaka Pilapitiya, M.B.B.S (Colombo), MD (Medicine) (Colombo), Diploma in Ayurveda (Sri Lanka)
Son of Dr.Upali Pilapitiya and Dr.MallikaSenasekera, is an Allopathic Medical Doctor with specialization in Internal Medicine. Following the family traditions he has ventured in to Ayurveda obtaining the Diploma in Ayurveda and registration with the Sri Lanka Ayurveda Medical Council.
He represents a rare breed of medical doctors having the clinical expertise of both medical systems while understanding their intricacies.
Dr.Senaka Pilapitiya adds to the strength of the medical team providing a holistic approach towards the care we provide at Pilapitiya Ayurveda.
He runs a special integrated medical clinic on Saturdays at the Pilapitiya Ayurveda Hospital.
Dr.Shiromi Pilapitiya, M.B.B.S
Daughter of Dr.Uplai and MallikaPilapitiya, has a special interest in sports medicine. She currently works as a Medical officer at the Ministry of Sports. Provides with her expertise to the team as needed.

Is a member of the team providing regular clinical care topatients.
